Auroras around Uranus

The image was taken on April 13th 2012. The image captures, for the first time, auroras above the giant ice planet Uranus. These images were captured by the Hubble Space Telescope. These pictures may just be pretty blue circles to us, but to scientists they are amazing as they shed some light on the little known magnetosphere of Uranus.
